- RFQ# 36C24222Q0670 NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Existing Masimo software upgrade and expansion The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2, Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a Firm-Fixed Price sole source purchase order with Masimo for the purpose of performing an entire existing Masimo software upgrade and installation for the Buffalo VAMC. The Government intends to negotiate solely with Masimo per FAR 13.106-1(b), as no other source of supplies will satisfy agency requirements. Masimo has an existing software integrated to the Buffalo VAMC patient care system, making Masimo the unique source to supply the Government s need. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334510 and the size standard is 1250 employees. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will not pay for information submitted. Inquiries will only be accepted via email to Duane.philgence@va.gov and will consider responses received by 3:00 pm Eastern Standard Time on 05/13/2022. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
