- Description
- The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to award a sole source labor hour contract to�MACH-20, LLC for expert independent consulting services, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 and utilizing FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, procedures in conjunction with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.� NGA believes MACH-20, LLC possesses the unique expertise and direct experience to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Research Directorate mission critical requirement to develop capabilities for tomorrow that can provide actionable intelligence to combatant command (CCMDs) elements and Intelligence Community (IC) which face new challenges from proliferating weapon systems, as well as newly-developed weapon systems such as those boasted by our adversaries. The contractor shall provide expert advice on current projects to develop weapon systems and capabilities. This may include new missile systems, launch vehicles, hypersonic glide vehicles, air defense systems, and missile defense measures. No competition is being sought. The period of performance will be for one (1) year after contract award with four (4) additional 12-month option period, for a total of 60 months. This is a special notice prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. A solicitation will not be posted. However, any entity that believes it can meet this requirement may give written notification no later than the stated response date. Supporting evidence must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Whne submitting your capability statement, the subject line of your email must reference the Notice of Intent ID HM047622Q0022. Subimittals without this reference will not be reviewed.
