- DESCRIPTION - The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential sources for planning purposes only. The New Hampshire National Guard will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties responding to this notice. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. Responses to this notice are NOT considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The intent of this notice is to identify qualified Small Business (SB) concerns capable of performing the requirements described below. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 532490 and the Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard is $35 million. Pease AFB is has a requirement for a ""mobile substation"" in the event of failure of its current substation.� The Substation is 3.0 MVA transformer. The mobile substation at a minimum will have to ensure all of Pease AFB can operate in both Summer and Winter demands. �The contractor will be responsible for rerouting power from the grid to their mobile substation, which in turn feeds Pease AFB.� Provide with your Source Sought reply: 1. time to move your Mobile Substation from its current location to Pease AFB 2. time to connect to the grid 3. will a site visit be required to gather additional information 4. space needed for your mobile substation 5. Mobile Substation product sheet Construction should be compatible with applicable Department of Defense, Air Force, and base design standards. In addition, local materials and construction techniques shall be used where cost effective. This project will comply with DoD antiterrorism/force protection requirements per unified facilities criteria.� Submissions are restricted to ten (10) single-sided pages maximum, and must include: (1) Positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor. (2) A completed and signed Sources Sought Response Form . (3) A listing of projects completed during the past three (3) years, may be from both Government and/or private industry projects. The list must include the type of project, dollar value, contract number, location, and point of contact. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor. If subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor. (4) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract. (5) A letter from your surety with your maximum bonding capacity per project.
