Notice of Intent: �The USDA, ARS, SEA, Soil Dynamics Research Unit intends to award a sole source procurement to Thermo MF Physics LLC, 4833 Centennial Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO. 80919, as they are the sole source for this type neutron generator pursuant to the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(l ) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible source and no Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy agency Requirements . �The award will be for a neutron generator replacement component in an existing instrument, located at the USDA-ARS Soil Dynamics Research Lab in Auburn, AL., in accordance with the following specifications.� The neutron generator is a component of a �Mobil Inelastic Neutron Scattering� soil scanner system instrument that is specifically designed to utilize the neutron generator described. Specifications: Neutron Generator Requirements Nominal Max.
