- MCFO PRAIRIE COUNTY LIVESTOCK WATER WELLS: The BLM office in Miles City, Montana has a requirement to construct six (6) livestock water wells. Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and materials. All specifications, map/drawings and other information etc. will be included in the solicitation. The solicitation is anticipated to be posted on/about May 19, 2022. Response date for the quotes will be on/about June 20, 2022. Work under this contract is located in Prairie County Montana Work is anticipated to start around July 18, 2022. Contractor shall have 98 days from Notice to Proceed to complete the project. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 237110. This is a total set aside for Small Business Concerns. The small business size standard is $39.5 million. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $250,000. A 100% payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $35,000. Payment protection shall be due within 10 days upon notification of our intent to make award. In addition, a performance bond shall be required for award of $150,000 Prospective contractors shall be registered System Award Management (SAM) prior to award. Lack of registration in the SAM database or failure to submit all required quote information as identified in the upcoming solicitation may make a quotor ineligible for award. Information on SAM can be found online at www.sam.gov. All questions regarding this requirement must be submitted in writing to rundlin@blm.gov at least seven business days before closing. No other individuals are designated to take questions. There is no scheduled site tour. However, quoters are urged and expected to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of the contract performance, to the extent the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to understand the project environment/terrain constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
