- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. This pre-solicitation announcement is not a solicitation document, but a pre-notice of an upcoming solicitation. Full solicitation 140P4522R0015, posted under the title: WORI � Replace domestic hot water heater in Visitor Center will be issued electronically and can be found by searching for the solicitation at beta.SAM.gov | Home Government Portal website on or about May 6, 2022. The Department of the Interior, The National Park Service NY MABO intends to issue a solicitation for a contractor to remove the existing hot water heater, its pumps, piping and wiring and install new hot water heaters and all required piping and wiring within Women�s Rights National Historic Park in Seneca Falls, NY. The entire solicitation package, with all attached documents, will be available in Microsoft Word, Excel, HTML or Adobe PDF formats through beta.SAM.gov. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE MADE AVAILABLE. Specific instructions on submitting your proposal will be contained in the solicitation documents to be issued. Contract performance duration is approximately 90 days. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this contract is between $25,000 and $50,000. Award will be made to the offeror meeting the minimum of technically acceptability while also providing the best value to the government. The resulting contract will be firm fixed price. In addition to price, the government will evaluate other factors, such as experience and past performance in successfully completing similar hot-water heater removal/replacement and installation projects. This solicitation is restricted to small-business contractors in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.203 � Set-asides for small business concerns. The RFP will be set-aside for total small-business under NAICS Code 238220 � Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors (size standard $16.5M). This procurement is subject to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Proposals are due approximately thirty (30) days following issuance of the anticipated solicitation. Search by referencing solicitation number 140P4522R0015. The successful offeror must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and have current online Representations and Certifications. Please access http://www.sam.gov to update your records prior to submitting an offer. The Government reserves the right to cancel this Solicitation.
