- 3 May 2022- To clarify the impact of Common Synthetic Training Environment (CSTE) Consortium's cancellation with regard to the AFLCMC/ XA MAC IDIQ: A CSTE Consortium delivery order is no longer being considered at this time. This does not impact AFLCMC/XA's pursuit of this solicitation, and the ceiling amount is not impacted 27 April 2022- Update to Q&As posted 22 April-�Offerors may utilize a cover page on Volumes II, III, and IV. An updated Q&A document will not be posted for this change. No other changes at this time. 22 April 2022 - An amendment to the solicitation has been posted along with an editable version of the SF33 document, an updated Section L (Attachment 2), and an updated Proposal Response Guide (PRG, Attachment 4). A Q&A document including answers to all questions received to date has also been uploaded. The proposal response due/date time has not changed as a result of this RFP amendment. The superceded versions of each document have been deleted from this notice. 31 March 2022 - The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Architecture & Integration Directorate�s (AFLCMC/XA) mission is to work with the requirements community and S&T/Industry to analyze gaps, requirements, missions, threats, and technologies and to develop systems or solutions to address warfighter needs while launching high confidence programs. AFLCMC/XA activities include Modeling, Simulation & Analysis (MS&A), Capability Development/Development Planning (CD-DP), Cost Analysis/Trades,� Technical Risk Reduction/Test Engineering, Standards and Architecture Development and Curation, Software Development and Curation, and Advanced Synthetic/Virtual Simulator Environments Development for Operational Test and Training. AFLCMC/XA will support future operations by leveraging the Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) to rapidly contract for a variety of capabilities across the portfolio. The work is not envisioned for singular use, rather an enabler for multi-domain, multi-level security development, analysis, and synthetic environments.
