- This notice is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.101(a)(2). The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Evergreen Fire Alarms (EFS), LLC (CAGE 1XMK2) of 2111 South 90th Street, Tacoma, Washington. This requirement is for delivery and installation of the following: MDI Intrusion Detection System Upgrade. The existing MDI PB2000, peripheral controllers and power supplies shall be replaced. Five (5) BMS door sensors shall be replaced. Two (2) 360-motion detectors shall be replaced and eight (8) existing 360-motion detectors shall be re-used. Comm lines shall be re-used. An electrical subcontractor shall provide a hardwired 120VAC circuit to power equipment. Two (2) view-only cameras shall be installed. Installation will include a contractor field test and system acceptance testing. EFS completed a site survey identifying the required material needed to replace the Bldg. 606 Access Control and Alarm Systems, which includes materials, installation (labor) and travel. The Government intends to negotiate solely with Evergreen Fire Alarms, LLC under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), due to only one source being reasonably available to meet the Government's needs. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, applies. The applicable NAICS Code is 561621 and the business size standard is $22,000,000. Please be advised the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes, however, any responsible source may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement after consideration of all responses to this notice is solely within the Government�s discretion.
