02 May 2022- Sources Sought for MJU-76/B Aluminum Impact Flare Body Tube for Crane Army Ammunition Activity PANROC-21-P-008753 The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island is issuing this sources sought notice for MJU-76/B Aluminum Impact Flare Body Tube. This requirement is projected to use NAICS code 331318. PROJECT SUMMARY: The product is described as Mobile Jettison Unit (MJU) 76B Aluminum body tube per drawing DEV19106 R7 (not available for sources sought purposes) made out of aluminum alloy, 6061-T6, American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) B221. � First Article Test (FAT) is required. Quantity of 10 tubes. This FAT is required 15 days after contract award. � Product quantity is 57,500. This quantity is required 6 weeks after FAT approval.� Interested parties should reply with their information no later than 0900AM Central Standard Time on 06 May 2022. Information should include previous within scope project details, dates, and organizations that work was provided to, your business cage code, small business designation, and your business size status. Please note timeline for FAT and production quantity. Interested parties should include in reply if the FAT and production quantity is feasible for your company. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Government. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in the response. The Government will not accept requests for meetings or briefings. No phone solicitations or email with regards to the status of the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be accepted prior to the solicitation release.
