Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice. The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) Horticultural lab located in Fort Pierce, has a requirement to Replace (2) Air Handling Units, Unit #9 and Unit #10, subject to the availability of funds. The work includes, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supplies, necessary �to Replace (2) Air Handling Units, Unit #9 and Unit #10. USDA ARS SEA intends to issue a Request for Proposals for a firm fixed priced contract, subject to the availability of funds.� The solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside.� The NAICS code for this requirement is 238220 with a size standard of $16.5M.� Contractors shall not directly contact the�facility to discuss this requirement.� During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute the Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government anticipates issuing an RFP for this requirement on about May 18, 2022.� This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for these services.
