Description
THE SOLICITATION FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT MAY 16, 2022. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project at Cleveland National Forest, Descanso Ranger District Office - �includes demolition, removal, disposal and installation of concrete picnic tables at Laguna Campground. �An option is also included to provide and install picnic tables at Corral Canyon and Bobcat Meadows Campgrounds. PROJECT LOCATION:� Laguna Campground - From San Diego head east on Interstate 8 past the town of Alpine to the Sunrise Highway Exit. Take Sunrise Highway (S1) exit and turn left (north) onto Sunrise Highway proceed up the mountain approximately 13 miles. Turn left into the Laguna campground. Corral Canyon Campground and Bobcat Meadows Campground, San Diego County. Travel on I-8 East for approximately 45 miles, exit on Buckman Springs Road. Turn right on to Buckman Springs Road approximately 3.5 miles. Turn right on Corral Canyon Road. 5.9 miles to the intersection of Los Pinos road. Go straight 1.4 miles to Corral Canyon Campground or turn left 1.1 miles on Los Pinos Road to Bobcat Meadows Campground. Contractors shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, supplies (unless specified elsewhere as Government-furnished), and incidentals required to accomplish specified work in compliance with the terms, specifications, and provisions of the contract. Work is estimated to begin around July 1, 2022. Engineering point of contact is Foster Kuramata, telephone: (858)674-2971. Both performance and payment bonds will be required for this project as well as a bid guarantee. Estimated project value is between $100,000.00 - $250,000.00. NAICS 237990 with size standard $39.5 mil. This project is set aside 100% for service-disabled veteran owned small business concerns. �
