- Description
- The purpose of this RFI is to solicit feedback on the technical design of a new Activity and notify the community that USAID/SA is interested in identifying organizations in the three provinces of Eastern Cape, KwaZulu Natal and Limpopo that may have the institutional capacity to implement the conceptual program or components of the program described in this RFI. It is not to be construed as a commitment that any future solicitations in this area will be limited to local organizations. Submissions in response to this RFI will be used to 1) refine the design of the Activity, to validate our current assumptions and gain a better understanding of what is needed to close the gap to epidemic control while building a resilient health system and leveraging community, civil society, and private sector partnerships and2) identify qualified South African organizations with institutional capabilities and/ or potential to implement either a broad range of technical interventions or a specific niche area of technical interventions in support of achieving HIV epidemic control in the following Provinces - Eastern Cape (specifically Alfred Nzo District and Buffalo City Metro), Kwa-Zulu Natal (specifically Harry Gwala, King Cetshwayo and uGu Districts), and/or Limpopo (specifically Capricorn and Mopani Districts).
