- Shorts Salient Characteristics: Style:� must be mesh basketball shorts Color:� Must be olive drab Material:� must be 100% Polyester Leg Length:� all sizes must be at least 17 inches from bottom of the waist band to� ����� the knee/leg opening.� Tolerance Intervals of +/- 0.5 inches will� be considered Must have a white drawstring on the inside front of the shorts Must have a small mesh pocket located on the inside of the shorts approximately ����� 4 � inches to the right of the drawstring. Tolerance Intervals of +/- 0.5 inches will� ����� be considered Small mesh pocket must be approximately 2 inches in width and 4 � inches in length Embroidery:� all shorts must have a USMC gold and white Eagle Globe and Anchor (EGA) and the capitalized letters �MCJROTC� embroidered on the front left leg of the shorts, per Exhibit A and B.� Quality Assurance: To be considered for award, Quoters/Offerors are advised to provide 1 Large (L) sample pair of shorts that demonstrates appearance and measurements. Samples shall be provided at no expense to the Government; and returned at the Quoters/Offerors� request and expense, unless the samples are destroyed per Quoters/Offerors� request.� Please deliver sample to: Pedro Rivas 2010 Henderson Rd Quantico, VA 22134-5119 Embroidery Specifications From the bottom of the left leg to the top of the emblem must have a measurement of 5 inches EGA must be 2 � inches tall and 2 inches wide. Eagle, continents, and anchor are to be colored gold. Globe is to be colored silver with lines of latitude being colored black. MCJROTC letters must be centered and directly under the EGA Letters must be � inches tall and � inch wide.
