Description

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to issue a sole source award to a contract (Contract Number HM047622P0016) with United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) for the 2022 GEOINT Symposium Booth Rental and Registration.There is only one responsible source for this award. The United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) is the organizer and sole vendor in the participation of the GEOINT 2022 Symposium. USGIF holds the sole contract with the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center that provides USGIF with exclusive use and access to the facility for the duration of the symposium, April 24 � 27, 2022 at a discounted rate. No other organization or commercial entity has the ability to legally provide admittance, access, or use of the facility during the event that USGIF hosts. No other sources were solicited due to exclusive contracts held by USGIF that prevent any other sources from legally offering the required products and services during the symposium. This is a special notice prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions and is not a request for competitive proposals. A solicitation will not be posted. However, any firm that believes it can meet this requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer no later than 5:00 pm Eastern Time (ET) on 19 April 2022. Supporting evidence must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
