Description
This project is set-aside for Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Businesses. The NAICS code for this project is 237990. The small business size standard is no greater than $39.5 million in average annual receipts over the past three years. Only offers from firms that are certified to meet both HUBZone status and the size standard will be considered. You may contact your local U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) office (federal, not state office) for more information on the HUBZone program. Your local SBA office's contact information may be found by accessing the SBA website (www.sba.gov).� Presolicitation notice information is current at the time posted.� The solicitation documents, including amendments, contain the official project information. Please hold any technical questions until after review of the solicitation.� The technical contact information will be listed in the solicitation. The project is for the repair, rehabilitation, and reroofing of restroom facilities at the Big Meadow Campground in the Calaveras Ranger District, as well as the demolition of the existing amphitheater and construction of a new amphitheater, including a stage, benches, electrical service, and projector pedestal at the Marmot Day Use Area. Work also includes demolition of existing picnic sites and placement of picnic tables, as well as reconstruction of the pathway leading to the amphitheater. The work shall also include cleanup and disposal of all removed building material from Forest Service lands. Roof replacement shall include all required new components as specified in the Drawings. The Government's estimate is between $100,000 and $250,000. This project is located within the Calaveras Ranger District of the Stanislaus National Forest in Calaveras County, California. Big Meadow Campground is located along State Highway 4, approximately 20 miles East of Arnold, CA. Marmot Day Use Area is located along State Highway 4, approximately 28 miles East of Arnold, CA. A map of the site is in the Drawings. The date of award is expected to be within 30 days after the actual response date, which will be stated in the package and possibly changed in one or more amendments. The purpose of this notice is to meet the FAR 5.201 and 36.213-2 requirements. It is the contractor�s responsibility to monitor the SAM website for amendments.
