Description
Combined Synopsis/Solicitation SP4703-22-R-0004 � Upgrade of Sewer Lift Stations SCOPE Lift Stations at the following four locations shall be upgraded with new equipment. At building 41 replace rails, floats, and controller. Install all new pump, a backup pump, inline check valve and the pit (Entire system replacement). At building 97 replace and install a new pump, floats, inline check valves, rails and new contro At building 205 (Army Corp Office) shall have all new equipment installed. Pumps, floats, rails, controls, and check valves. At building 616 (Parker Pond Lift station) shall have all new equipment installed. Pumps, floats, rails, controls, and inline check valves. At South Perimeter Road, replace rails, broken chain, float and malfunctioning main pump. Install new controls, indicators, and electrical components BACKGROUND Due to issues with pumps, rails, float, check, valves and control system, the lift stations at Buildings 97, 205, 616 and South Perimeter Rd are not functioning as they should and are not within tolerance of codes and regulatory requirements. The lift station at 41will need to be replaced completely to return to reliable operation. The contractor shall ensure that the electrical and mechanical components of the lift stations are consistent for current and future use. The contractor shall provide all aspects of engineering including civil/structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and controls to ensure proper operations consistent with manufacturers requirement. OBJECTIVES The objective of this project is to restore Lift stations at five different locations at DSCR. The equipment is old and some broken and no longer work. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.� The solicitation number SP4703-22-R-0004 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP).� This is a firm-fixed price award.� This acquisition is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside.� �North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237110.� The small business size standard is $16.5 Million.� The period of performance is 90 days after receipt of award.� Award will be made to the lowest priced offeror that meets the requirements identified in the SOW.� � � � � � � � � � � � �� The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award.� If not already registered, go to SAM website www.sam.gov to register prior to submitting your quote.� All inquiries in regard to the RFP must be submitted by May 3, 2022.� Acceptable method of quote or inquiries submission is email to Mary.Washington@dla.mil
