- Description
- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is performing a market search for businesses in preparation for a future procurement to provide technical quality assurance and statistical support (including decision quality support) to ORD Laboratories or Centers, other Program Offices, or Regions. Any interested firm should submit a Capabilities Statement with information which clearly demonstrates their capabilities to provide the services described below in the attached PWS. Standard company brochures will not be considered a sufficient response to this Sources Sought Synopsis. It is anticipated that any future contract for these services will be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract with a five (5) year ordering period. The Government anticipates a maximum estimate of $12 million and a minimum estimate of $10,000. Task Orders will be issued under the contract as firm-fixed price or time-and-materials type contracts. The applicable NAICS code is 541620 (Environmental Consulting Services) with a size standard of $15 million of the average annual receipts. The capabilities statement shall provide the firm�s current business size status for the above referenced NAICS code, (large or small) and whether the firm is an SBA certified HUBZone or 8(a)/Small Disadvantaged contractor. The firm shall also indicate if it is Woman-owned, Veteran-owned or Service-Disabled Veteran owned. As a reminder, small businesses are required to perform at least 50 percent of the costs of the contract performance with their own personnel (FAR 52.219-14). The EPA reserves the right to set this action aside for small businesses. Capabilities Statements in response to this Sources Sought Synopsis are due NO LATER THAN 4:00PM EST, Friday, 22 April 2022, and shall only be submitted electronically through FedConnect. You must register with FedConnect to submit documents, questions, and to view responses. This is a notice for sources sought only. This notice does not constitute a procurement commitment by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, implied or otherwise. No contract will be awarded from this notice. Response is strictly voluntary; No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow-up information requests. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any improperly identified information. FedConnect is a web portal that connects agencies and vendors to streamline the process of doing business with the federal government. Registration may be completed and information regarding the registration process may be obtained at http://www.sam.gov . There is no charge for registration in SAM.
