Description
The 325th Contracting Squadron is seeking capable sources to provide�Corporate Housing for personnel attending recurring training at Tyndall AFB, FL. This will be set-aside for 100% Small Business. The anticipated period of performance is for twelve (12) months beginning on 22 July 2022 and ending on 21 July 2023. This sources sought notice is for information purposes only and is not a request for proposal (RFP).�The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 to determine the availability and capability of businesses to provide this service at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida.�Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement.� The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. �Any information submitted by respondents is strictly voluntary.�The tentative solicitation issue date is to be determined. Any future solicitation will be made available only on beta.sam.gov. Interested Parties are solely responsible for monitoring the aforementioned website for the release of a solicitation package and/or any updates and/or amendments. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 531110, Lessors of Residential Buildings and Dwellings, with the corresponding SBA size standard of $30.0 million. REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall provide eight fully furnished single occupancy apartments or 1 bedroom family apartments with a minimum of 600 sq ft. Each residence shall be located within the same community. Each residence shall be furnished in accordance with corporate apartment standards, to include, but not limited to: high quality queen size beds/linens, standard bedroom furnishings/dressers/clothes hangers, good quality/condition, sofas, loveseats, chairs, coffee tables, floor lamps, dining tables/chairs, silverware, dishes, pots/pans, glasses, cups, coffee maker, assorted cooking utensils, a small quantity of miscellaneous food storage containers, dish cloths, tea towels, linen napkins, miscellaneous decor accents commensurate with the number of occupants, along with safe off-street parking. Washer and dryer, along with all utilities (electric, water, trash, basic cable/TV, and internet). An internet connection of at least 100Mbps downstream, 5Mbps upstream shall be available at each residence for use only by the designated tenants. Connection will terminate on premises to a wireless router/gateway with the ability to broadcast at full bandwidth to the entire unit. Wireless access passwords will be issued only to DOD customers designated by the Contracting Officers Representative (COR). 24/7 technical support must be available to the system Administrator and end users. Problem resolution must be routinely provided within 8 hours from the initiation of the complaint. � The lodging facility shall� be within a 10 mile radius of Tyndall AFB. Managerial support must be provided along with the following services � Minor maintenance repair, 24 hour on call repair service for utilities, plumbing, water heater, refrigeration and physical security. In emergency situations, a 3 hour response time is necessary, with a 12 hour window for non-emergency situations. Routine service calls may be handled within normal business hours. Residents of each unit shall be held liable for any damages directly incurred by their actions. The facility owner will be responsible for routine repairs as well as damage occurring to the facility not caused by the resident. Interested organizations are encourgaged to submit a statement of their capabilities and qualifications to fulfill this requirement in writing to the point of contacts referenced below not later than 2:30 P.M. local time on 15 April 2022.�Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Sources shall provide the following information with their submission: 1. A detailed capabilities statement stating their experience in providing the same or similar work described in this notice. 2. A point of contact with phone and e-mail information. 3. Business status (Socio-Economic Factors: 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business), business size based on NAICS 531110. 4. A positive statement of interest to submit a proposal.
