This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION NOTICE for ARJO MAXI SKY LIFT UPGRADE BRAND NAME ONLY ARJO MAXI SKY 2 Responses to this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation must be in writing and submitted on the attached Request for Quotation. Unrestricted not a set-aside NAICS Code: 339113; size standard: 750 employees; PSC: 6530 Responses to this notice shall include the following: (a) company name  b) address (c) point of contact (d) phone, fax, and email (e) DUNS number (f) Cage Code  (g) Tax ID Number (h) and must  provide a capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to perform as a contractor and provide the commodities described within the Request For Quotation.   VA New Jersey Healthcare System at East Orange and Lyons, Engineering Service, is seeking to purchase the following brand name only equipment and installation for ceiling lift upgrade. Arjo Ceiling Lifts Upgrade Brand Name Only Arjo Maxi Sky 2 Scope of Work: Upgrade of all existing ceiling lifts at the VA New Jersey Healthcare System East Orange and Lyons Campuses. The overhead, ceiling mounted patient lift motors will be upgraded utilizing the existing ceiling lift track. The contractor will upgrade the existing charging system to include continuous charge in each room. A minimum hoist Capacity of 600 lbs. NJH Biomedical Engineering (HTM) department at both sites has reviewed the industry leading products and determined the Arjo Maxi Sky 2 is the optimal ceiling lift for our Veterans. Deliverable Items: Maxi Sky 2 Ceiling Lift Motors for both campuses / Qty 232 Latest Spreader bar and accessories / Qty 232 Scales for Maxi Sky 2 Ceiling Lift / Qty 232 Installation, Deflection Testing, Engineering Drawings. Includes all labor and parts to ensure all ceiling lifts are fully functional and safe for use on patients. Hardware Kit - Required to upgrade from the current charging stations on the track to have continuous charging All offers must be submitted using the attached RFQ along with any other relevant information as per FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation found on page 45. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. Notice to Potential Offerors: All Offerors who provide goods or services to the United States Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM located on the web at www.sam.gov). It is desirable that any Offeror to have completed their business Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Additionally, all Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses who respond to a solicitation on this project must be registered with the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprise VetBiz Registry located at http://vip.vetbiz.gov. Requests for information and resultant responses shall be submitted directly to the contracting officer, Paul Speedling at Paul.Speedling@va.gov.
