Description

Amendment 0001 - 4-7-2022 The purpose of this amendment is to: 1) Correct the response date of Attachment V Past Performance Questionnaire, Section 1 from 28 April 2022 to 25 April 2022 by 12:00pm PDT along with your offer; and 2) To give answers to questions offers had; see the following pages for details. The due date for this RFP remains unchanged.� The United States Department of Agriculture {USDA) Agriculture Research Service (ARS) Pacific West Area is issuing 12905B22R0007 Request for Proposals (RFP) to award a firm fixed price construction contract located at the USDA ARS PWA Carl Haden Bee Research Center in Tucson AZ. The intent of this contract is to repair or replace HVAC and Electrical components in Buildings 107 and 108 of the USDA Carl Hayden Bee Research Center in Tucson Arizona.� The completed project will result in conformance to the current edition of applicable local and state building codes.� The work includes providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation, and supervision needed for the renovation. This requirement is being prepared in accordance with FAR Part 36 Construction Contracts. This will be solicited as 100% Small Business Set-Aside NAICS Code: 236220 - Addition, Alteration and Renovation, General Contractor, Commercial and Institutional Building Standard Small Business Size is $39.5M Disclosure of Magnitude - Between $500,000 and $1,000,000 The solicitation, including all supporting documents, will be posted to the website SAM.gov (System for Award Management) on or about March 17, 2022. The SAM.gov helpdesk can assist if there are any registration questions. The help desk can be reached at (800) 899-6665. The solicitation, and any amendments, will be issued electronically. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed or issued. To obtain the solicitation package, download it from SAM.gov. It is the contractor's responsibility to check regularly for any posted changes to the solicitation. Contractors must be registered in the SAM.gov in order to be considered or receive a federal contract. A date and time for the site visit will be specified in the solicitation.
