Description

Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) has a requirement to procure Molecular Diagnostic reagent products and service to ensure quality control and continuation of testing capabilities to meet patient care mission by use of the BioFire Torch system, which is the only platform used to perform rapid bacterial and viral testing used for COVID-19 testing and other diagnostics of life threatening infections quickly. The reagents products will be ordered as needed, as COVID-19 patient needs may change: Respiratory Panel 2.1 IVD Test; FilmArray NGDS Warrior Panel Test; FAIV Kit, Pneumonia Panel IVD Test; FAIV Kit Meningitis/Encephalitis Panel Test; FAIV Kit GI Panel IVD Test; FAIV Kit BCID Panel IVD Tests and BioFire COVID-19 Panel Test; and ensuring maintenance and functionality support of the BioFire Diagnostics equipment. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS and no solicitation exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data, including cost and capabilities, sufficient to determine a contractor's ability in providing the same supplies.� All capability statements received by closing of this notification of this synopsis will be considered by the government. �Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� A copy of the Justification and Approval will be posted no later than fourteen (14) days after award.
