Description
The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 02 (Canandaigua VAMC) intends to solicit from a single source IAW FAR 13.106(b) to obtain maintenance on its current, in operation Medeco XT Intelligent Key Eco-System. The VAMC is seeking annual and recurring software maintenance/updates to ensure continuity of the current system in place and to avoid potentially costly downtimes. The system helps to ensure the safety of employees as well as veteran patients that visit the medical center. Period of performance Base Year: 06-01-2022 Through 07-31-2023 with the provision of (4) additional option years. Basic description of the requirement: Medeco is the developed and OEM of the Intelligent Key Eco-System. They are also the manufacturer and developer of their proprietary software and algorithms used for security and to work with any possible communication with VA physical security protocols in place. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by April 15th, 2022 at 14:00 Eastern Standard Time (EST). The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses from responsible sources will be considered. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Intelligent Key System in the subject line. All documents submitted, will not be returned.
