- Description
- The National Science Foundation (NSF) Office of Polar Programs (OPP), has need of MEDVAC and contingency airlift support to and from McMurdo Station, Antarctica. Duties in Brief: Provide the U.S. Antarctic Program (USAP) with emergency airlift capabilities to McMurdo Station, with endpoint being mission-dependent (in Australia or New Zealand).� Provider has 24 hours to launch after notification from USAP.� Contract Structure and Details This will be a firm-fixed-unit-price contract. This is�a five-year requirement, captured as a one-year base period with four separate one-year option periods.� See the solicitation's 52.212-1 provision for details. Solicitation Please submit all questions to the contracting officer, William Engelhart, at wengelha@nsf.gov. Please submit questions no later than 11 April 2022, 1pm EST. Anticipated contract award will occur early or mid May. Performance is anticipated to start mid May but is subject to the evaluation and award process.� Please review the solicitation's provisions 52.212-1 and 52.212-2.
