Description

This sources sought is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered a Request for Quote or a Request for Proposal. The Navajo Area Indian Health Service (NAIHS), Northern Navajo Medical Center, is seeking sources who can provide exercise equipment. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge regarding potential qualified Indian Economic Enterprises (IEEs) or Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEEs) and their size classification relative to NAICS 339920 - Sporting and Athletic Goods Manufacturing with Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard of 750. The capability statement should include the following: The company System for Award Management (SAM) Unique Entity Identifier Number. Past performance in providing the requested equipment to the Indian Health Service, other Government (Federal or State) agency, or for a private facility, within the past three (3) years. Include contract number, point of contact, telephone number or e-mail address. Please indicate whether service is available under contract with GSA Federal Supply Schedule and if so, provide the contract number or indicate if service is �open market.� The company socio-economic status (e.g. IEE, ISBEE, HUBZone, SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB, SB, 8a, etc.) In accordance with the Buy Indian Act, 25 U.S.C. 47, the Indian Health Service shall give preference at all times, as far as practicable, to Indian economic enterprises.� If your firm is capable of providing the supplies and/or services described in this notice, complete the attached representation form and submit it along with the rest of the required documents. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice shall be submitted via email to michelle.james@ihs.gov no later than 1:00 p.m. MDT, April 4, 2022. Please place ""Sources Sought: Exercise Equipment"" in the subject line of your email. This notice is to assist the NAIHS in determining sources only. NOTE: Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government in response to this sources sought.
