- The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is issuing a solicitation for semi-annual maintenance/inspection/repair for four operating vessels, commercial services, prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 12.6. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 811490, with a Small Business Size Standard of $8 Million as determined by 13 CFR 121.104. Competition for this requirement is Set-Aside for small business. Offers received from other than small business offerors will not be considered. When available, the solicitation documents for this project W912EF22Q0033 will be provided via SAM https://www.SAM.gov on or around 28 March 2022. Please do not submit a quote without the solicitation package that will be provided to industry by the Government as specified above. The solicitation will be a Request for Quote (RFQ). The official quotation due date will be contained in the solicitation and any solicitation amendments that may be issued. SCOPE OF WORK The contractor shall provide all necessary services required to perform semi-annual maintenance service, inspection, and repair on four operating vessels including (Lower Granite Dam Natural Resource Office, Clarkston, WA): - Servicing Four (4) operating vessels two (2) times per year for beginning of the season and end of season winterizing. Vessels Service to include: - Hull/structural check, exterior of vessel to be check for any cracks Leakage, rust, or corrosion. - Vessels Interior check, cracks, mold and structural changes of vessels and cabs. - Electrical check services shall include-all starters, gauges, steering, lights, navigation, key switch radio, horns, wiper blades and any other electrical and accessories components under annual service per boat specifications with replacement as needed. - Engine check services shall include: all engine fluids, heat exchanger unit, jet pump, belts, fuel filters, fuel pumps, air filters, hoses/connection check and lubrication of all interior parts, impeller/propellers shaft check under annual service per vessels specifications and replacement as needed. - Outboard/kicker annual service, to include engine fluids, propellers, lubrications, and components to proper performance. - Battery check-all charging systems to ensure proper charging, fluid levels, clean all terminals and connections from rust, damage or corrosion replace battery as needed. - Bilge pump check, operating properly, clear of debris, float switches properly activate the pumps. - Blower check, operation and hoses shall be inspected and working properly. - River Test to check run ability of motor and jet pumps. - This will be a base year + 4 option years starting 19 May 2022.
