This acquisition will be made in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 �Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and solicitation for commercial Items,� as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation (a written solicitation will not be issued) and quotes are being requested. The Solicitation number is RFQ-NIAID-2118526 and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). This acquisition will be processed under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC)2022-03 January 01, 2022. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811219, Other Electronic and Precession Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a small business size standard of $22,000,000.00. The requirement is being competed full and open competition, un-restricted and without a small business set-aside. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) has a requirement for an annual maintenance agreement on the following Leica Microsystems instrument listed below: 1 year Service Contract for the following instrument and equipment: Period of Performance: 04/01/2022 � 03/31/2023 (NOTE: �First time maintenance contract after equipment coming off warranty.) 1. PremiumCare for STELLARIS 8; Equipment no: 12798444; Serial no: 8300000191 2. PremiumPlusCare STELLARIS 405 for STELLARIS 8; Equipment no: 12798444; Serial no: 8300000191 Minimum Requirements: Unlimited service visits performed by Leica Microsystems factory-trained and certified field service engineers with genuine Lecia Microsystems parts to meet OEM specifications Unlimited on-site repairs using OEM replacement service parts, components, or modules necessary for repairs, excluding multiphoton lasers One (1) annual on-site Planned/Preventative Maintenance visit to ensure the system is performing to factory specifications Unlimited access to expert Applications and Technology Support Center (M-F 8am-5pm, standard operating hours) Two-hour telephone call back from Applications and Technology Support Center Unlimited access to remote technical support services Proprietary firmware and software updates when available Required priority onsite response time scheduling equal to or better than manufacturers direct contract, to ensure minimal down time of instrumentation Payments shall be invoiced by vendor and disbursed by the NIH in 4 quarterly payments.
