Description

SOURCES SOUGHT This is not a solicitation/request for proposal.� The solicitation/request for proposal will be forth coming.� When issued the Solicitation/Request for Proposal can be found on the DSCC Bid website at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp/. �The subject requirement is for the acquisition of the NSNs listed below.� This will be solicited as an Indefinite Quantity Long Term Contract containing a 2-year base period and two 2-year option periods.� The total duration, base plus option years, shall not exceed 6 years.��� Solicitation will be issued using FAR Part 15- Contracting by Negotiations and will required Certified Cost and Pricing data.� Please return the attached Market Research to the Contract Specialist Elizabeth Hanlon at Elizabeth.hanlon@dla.mil. The estimated Solicitation Issue date is on or about 4/20/2022, with the Response date on or around 5/24/2022. The approved source for all NSNs included in the solicitation is BAE Systems, Inc. (064S4). While price is a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.� All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. NSNs are now part of the First Destination Transportation (FDT) program, which is Government, arranged commercial transportation will be used in lieu of supplier provided transportation.� Suppliers will register with DLA's Vendor Shipment Module (VSM).� When ready to ship, supplier will request a pick-up in VSM.� Pick-ups are generally made within 48 business hours of the request by commercial carrier.
