- Description
- This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY; no proposals are requested at this time. The Government does not plan to release a draft Request for Proposal (RFP) prior to release of the solicitation. The Joint Intermediate Force Capabilities Office (JIFCO), Quantico, VA currently has a requirement for Research and Technology Development Support Services (RTD2). This requirement will provide the JIFCO with a contract vehicle to conduct non-lethal weapons intermediate force capabilities (NLW/IFC) research and technology development; technical, scientific, and program analyses; systems integration and systems engineering tasks. The intent is to advance the technology readiness of NLW/IFC technology as well as the state of knowledge of NLW effects across several functional areas. In order to satisfy the JIFCO RTD2 requirement, Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) plans to award a single-award, cost plus fixed fee, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract with one base year and four 1-year ordering periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541715 � Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Nanotechnology and Biotechnology). This procurement will be conducted as full and open competition. An award will be made to a single vendor offering on all contract line items utilizing the Best Value Trade-off approach. Technical requirements will be set forth in the RFP. The Government intends to release RFP M67854-22-R-7208 mid-April 2022 via SAM.gov. The RFP will be available online at http://www.sam.gov/� and will include all documents of the solicitation package. No paper copies will be issued. It is the responsibility of those responding to the RFP to obtain all amendments and/or other applicable documents. Offerors are instructed to hold all questions until the RFP has been issues. NO PHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT ANY POINT OF THE RFP PROCESS. ALL COMMUNICATION SHALL BE THROUGH THE CONTRACTING OFFICE VIA EMAIL.
