- This is a Special Announcement for an Industry Day Forum for the Office of Facilities and Construction Management Design Build Multiple Award Task Order Contract. A previous sources sought was posted (www.SAM.Gov) on March 21, 2022, 36C10F22R0032 has information for preview. The Industry Day is intended to provide background and general information on Design Build Multiple Award Task Order Contract award and will be used for market research to give the Office of Construction and Facilities Management (CFM) the opportunity to engage contractors to determine overall interest, communicate with industry to better understand the current construction market, increase knowledge of industry standards, pricing and possible available technologies, attract new contractors, engage with potential contractors that can provide capabilities necessary to achieve the project goals. When: April 20, 2022 (Wednesday) Where: Virtual Platform Time: 9 AM CT until 4:00p.m CT POC: Lara Lutz, lara.lutz@va.gov, Contracting Officer, CRO CFM VIRTUAL INDUSTRY DAY ATTENDANCE: Due to the current COVID 19 pandemic this projects Industry Day will be via Virtual attendance only. Contractors are asked to use the attached Notification of Attendance in providing advance notice of their attendance and contact information. The Notification of Attendance will serve as to provide companies POC contact information for Contracting to send your company an electronic (email) invite to the virtual conference platform to be held via telephone or virtually (PC or iPhone). The forum will begin with a virtual presentation by CFM. Morning session will be a general session. The Notification of Attendance will be used to register contractors for the morning General session. The afternoon session will be for one-on-one meetings with CFM and give contractors an opportunity to present capabilities statements. If contractors would like to participate in one-on-ones in the afternoon on April 20, please indicate so when returning the Notification of Attendance. To receive timely attendance invitation information please complete and return the notification to the contracting officer by 4 PM Central Time on April 13, 2022.
