Description

SN-BFSU-22-005-RDJ This is a Special Notice that the Billings Area Indian Health Service (IHS), Blackfeet Service Unit is awarding a 12 month non-competitive, sole source contract to American National Red Cross, 2025 East Street, Northwest, Washington, DC 20006 for Blood and Blood Products and perform Immunohematological Testing Services on an as needed basis for the Blackfeet Service Unit.� Authorized per FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Period of Performance, 03/25/2022 � 02/28/2023. American Red Cross is the only provider of Blood and Blood products within 140 mile radius of the Blacfeet Service Unit, Browning, Montana.� There has not been a contract for Blood or Blood products since 09/2021 so this contract is being awarded so the Service Unit can order blood and blood products as well as request testing services to serve the patient population. This is not a request for quotations.
