Description

SYNOPSIS: �Team Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) will host the APG Advance Planning Briefing to Industry (APBI) from 26�28 April 2022, at APG, MD. Please note that details, including specific organizational briefing schedules, remain subject to change.� The goal of the APG APBI is to describe for industry potential future contracting opportunities for mission areas that focus on: Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance; Research and Development; Test and Evaluation; Chemical and Biological Defense; and APG Garrison. The APG APBI will identify potential contracting opportunities that are aligned with the roadmaps of each respective organization, specifically focusing on Fiscal Years 2023�2024. The APBI slides are anticipated to be posted electronically approximately two weeks prior to the start of the event. The Government will not hear formal bids from industry, as the purpose of the APBI is for the Government to brief upcoming opportunities to industry to help it better understand Army capability requirements and shape its internal development efforts.� In addition to the traditional contract opportunity briefings and small business highlights, this year�s APBI will include breakout and special interest sessions. Details about these sessions will be provided at a later date.� Due to ongoing concerns about COVID-19, the 2022 APBI will once again be held virtually via MS Teams. No pre-registration is required for virtual attendees. We will release more information about logging on to the event, including links, by updating this Save the Date message.� Links to the MS Teams meeting(s) will be posted here a few days before APBI begins, so check back regularly for those, updated read-aheads, and general APBI updates.� Local industrial/trade associations are sponsoring a No Host Social on Wednesday, 27 April from 5:30 � 8:00 P.M at Hopkins Farm. In order to assist these organizations in getting a head count to estimate interest, they�ve established a registration site - https://www.eventbrite.com/e/apg-2022-apbi-no-host-social-hopkins-farms-brewery-tickets-293174973237 and are encouraging attendees to sign up.
