- NOTICE:� This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside.� The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 811219 which has a corresponding Size standard of $22M.� The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement.� The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, HUBZone, and Women-Owned small business concerns.� The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code.� Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years.� Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. �Program Details: REQUIREMENT. The Improved Avionics Intermediate Shop (IAIS) Test Station is an automatic, programmable, stimulus generating, response-measuring piece of avionics test equipment. The test station provides automated checkout, alignment, and fault isolation for the F-16 Avionics Line Replaceable Units (LRUs). The contractor shall be responsible for the repair of the NSNs (attached) items used to support the operational requirements for current and future configurations of F-16 IAIS family of testers.� The Contractor shall provide labor and material necessary to return all repairable end items to a serviceable condition (but not like new) in accordance with approved Government repair procedures.� Repaired items shall include routine inductions as well as MICAP inductions. The Contractor shall provide tasks and services required to revise and maintain the F-16 AIS Series of Test Stations Technical Orders in a current and accurate state to meet user needs for operation and use of the F-16 AIS Series of test stations. These stations are used in support of F-16 Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) testing and repair requirements.� The contractor shall be capable of performing design modification or new design to resolve obsolescence issues as indicated by analyses or as required. Engineering analysis, testing, and qualification shall be used to validate potential replacements.� Any obsolescence activity shall ensure physical and functional compatibility to the next higher assembly. LIMITATIONS. The Government does not have drawings below the product specification from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The Government has no other engineering data rights in support of this synopsis. No other data will be available to interested vendors. REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. Interested parties are requested to submit the following information to assist the Government in developing the acquisition strategy. Past production experience, supplying IAIS parts, testing knowledge and capabilities, description of facilities, personnel, related manufacturing experience, and existing safety approvals. If any interested party anticipates a teaming arrangement, please describe the teaming arrangement. Please provide a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers within the last three years. � DISCLAIMER.
