- Intent to Sole Source Preventative Maintenance for the Steris Sterilization System. The Indian Health Service, Gallup Indian Medical Center (GIMC), located at 516 East Nizhoni Blvd, Gallup, New Mexico intends to award a non-competitive sole source purchase order to the proposed contractor, Steris Corporation located at 5960 Heisley RD, Mentor OH 44060-1834..� The purchase will be in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) � Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contractor is the only business uniquely qualified to provide the required services to the sterilization system. The period of performance is base year plus twor option years in accordance with FAR 17.207(c) (4) to exercise options.� Period of performance: Base Year:�� �������������������������� March �21, 2022 to February 28, 2023 Option Year One: ����������������� March �1, 2023 to February 29, 2024 Option Year Two: ����������������� March �1, 2024 to February 28, 2025 The North American Industry Classification System or NAICS code is 811219 � Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance with a business size standard of $22.00.� The Product Service Code is J065 � Maint/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment Repair � Medical, Dental. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence, that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted.� If no affirmative, written response is received by March 18, �2022 at 10:00 AM MDST, the contract will be issued without further notice.� This notice shall be published beginning March 16, 2022 through March 18, 2022 in accordance with FAR 5.203 (a) (1). A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.� A solicitation resulting from the analysis of information obtained will be announced to the public in betaSAM.gov in accordance with FAR 5.203 (a) (1). �However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation. �No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. The Government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s).
