- Request for Information (RFI) This request for information (RFI) is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as an invitation for bid, request for quotation, request for proposal, or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services.� Your response to this RFI will be treated as information only. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this announcement or the Government use of such information.� The information provided may be used by the Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC) in developing its acquisition strategy, statement of work/statement of objectives, and performance requirements.� Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI or to otherwise pay for the information submitted in response. NSW is seeking sources capable of providing the equipment necessary to provide a short-term forklift lease to be used by NSWC N6. The required forklift shall meet the following: 1. Have a minimum lift capacity of 3,000 lbs. 2. Have a collapsed mast height of 110"". 3. Maximum lift height must be at least 245"". 4. Be powered by a 36-volt battery. 5. Must be a standing position, non-sit-down variant. 6. Must be a short turn wheelbase to accommodate 10-13ft isles. 7. Must meet ability to use inhouse charging station or provide charging capability by vendor.������������������������������������ Once industry information is received detailing potential capabilities, NSWC may publish subsequent RFI requesting further information and industry comments on a refined set of requirements along with a draft acquisition strategy and milestone schedule. Interested parties should review the attached current software license renewal requirements, and within 7 days after release of this RFI provide the completed white paper outlining what requirements can be supplied, through what mechanisms, if option pricing would be available, and the size of your business.
