- Sources Sought Notice Description General Information Contract Opportunity Type: Sources Sought (Original) All Dates/Times are: (UTC-04:00) CENTRAL TIME, CHICAGO, USA Original Published Date: March 14, 2022 Original Response Date: March 18, 2022; 4:00 pm CT Agency: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 9 (NCO 9) For the Memphis VA Medical Center Classification Original Set Aside: Unrestricted Product Service Code: Q702 TECHNICAL MEDICAL SUPPORT NAICS Code: 561320 Place of Performance: Memphis, Tennessee Description This Request for Information (RFI) / Sources Sought (SS) Notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of VA or the Memphis VA Medical Center. This a new requirement for Vascular Medical Instrument Technicians, under NAICS 561320 noted above. The contractor shall provide two full-time Medical Instrument Technicians (Vascular) on-site in accordance with the specifications contained herein to beneficiaries of the Department of Veteran Affairs and the Memphis VAMC. The Vascular Medical Instrument Technicians will support ER patients, outpatients and inpatients in the Radiology Department. will allow TVHS to be in compliance with VHA Directive 7030 which sets requirements for Police Evaluations within the VA. Contractor shall have a regular pool of available vascular medical instrument technicians staff sufficient to meet contract requirements. The work for this requirement will be performed at the Memphis VAMC. This announcement is not a formal solicitation and is not a request for proposal. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made of any costs to provide information in response to this announcement or any follow up information requests. Availability of any formal solicitation will be announced under a separate announcement. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government.
