- Description
- QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS: QUESTIONS IN BLACK ANSWERS IN RED. NO MORE QUESTIONS AFTER WEDNESDAY 03/16/2022 The contractor shall provide the housekeeping staff proper training of how to use all the equipment. Training hours will be determined upon contract award. 1.Can you please provide clarification on the type and extent of training you are expecting? Training can be a general overview of equipment, how to operate/maintain for maximum usage. Autonomous machines would require more extensive training as they need to be programed to run without the rider. 2. Would a walkthrough of the operating and starting manuals suffice your training requirements? Advising staff of operating and maintaining equipment will suffice except for the autonomous machines where programming is required. 3. Can the training be virtual, or does it need to be in person? Training can be virtual although with the purchase of the autonomous machine, in person would be preferred as these machines require programming to run the machine without a rider. 4. What is your desired length of training or how many sessions? One day of training to provide an overview of equipment should be sufficient 5. There are multiple types of equipment from different manufacturers so having a subject matter expert for each could prove difficult. Do you just need basic starter training or in-depth training? An overview for most of the equipment will be sufficient, although the autonomous machines will require more in-depth training The contractor shall provide all tools kits, materials, and parts to perform the required simple maintenance. 1. Can you please define ""required simple maintenance""? Provide necessary tools/pads/batteries, etc. for initial usage 2. When you say ""all tool kits"" are you meaning that you only need a ""tool kit"" if the equipment has a specific kit that accompanies it? Or are you meaning it more generally as in you perhaps need a third-party screwdriver or wrench set to have on hand? If the equipment has a specific kit, that should be included. A third-party screwdriver/wrench set is not required. 3. There are multiple types of equipment from different manufacturers so each piece of equipment could have varying needs (ie. replacement pads, different screwdrivers, etc.) Can you please clarify exactly what you are expecting in regard to materials and parts for each unit? All materials and parts are required for equipment s first use and set-up.
