Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is offering for sale one (1) item of standing timber on approximately 84 acres within one block at Fort A.P. Hill, Bowling Green, VA 22427 of which approximately the following volumes to be harvested: The sales are sold per Item by unit, harvested timber will be sold by WEIGHT by the ton. Item 1 - TIMBER ON 1 BLOCK (84 ACRES) PINE SAWTIMBER � 1,541 Tons PINE CHIP N SAW � 584 Tons PINE PULPWOOD � 871 Tons HARDWOOD SAWTIMBER � 746 Tons HARDWOOD PULPWOOD � 499 Tons Tons of Chips (optional) � 207 Tons Contract Period of Performance: Item # one (1) Block # one (1) � All harvest operations including site rehabilitation activities of this item shall be completed by 15 April 2023.� No tree cutting 15 April to 30 June. INSPECTION OF THIS BLOCK WILL NOT BE CONDUCTED DUE TO THIS BLOCK BEING A RE-OFFER FROM PREVIOUS INVITATION FOR BID DACA65-B-22-03. Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. Thursday�24�March 2022 by the Acquisition, Management, and Disposal section, Real Estate Office, 803 Front Street, Norfolk, VA, and then opened publicly.
