Description

�Can we use a cut stump method of treating the woody species?� Answer: � Yes cutting and then treating the stump is an acceptable method for this project.� The USDA-NRCS is conducting management activities of brush control, herbaceous weed control and prairie establishment in Freeman and Newry Townships in Freeborn County, Minnesota.� The activity required for these sites will include scouting and spot treatment of woody vegetation and herbaceous weeds, seeding site preparation, seeding grasses in specified areas, and providing post-seeding maintenance (mowing/spraying). Site preparation may include chemical and/or mechanical treatment (mowing). ��
