Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE / PROPOSAL The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA), on behalf of Fort Belvoir Community Hospital (FBCH)), in support of the Main Operating Room, intends to�award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Biomedical Synergies, Inc. at 3034 Northview Road, Wayzata, MN 55391. The anticipated award will be made under the statutory authority permitting other than Full and Open Competition,�under the procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1) soliciting a Single Sources- (Brand Name Specifications). The contract is for medical software used to achieve regulatory compliance for tissue management. The system is used for tissue tracking by using manufacturers' bar codes to track and trace human tissue products through a hospital's supply chain. Additional services provided will include a monthly subscription to the license and customer service support. �The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 511210 Software Publishers This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities by responding to this notice no later than 10:00am EST, Tuesday, March 15, 2022 by email to miriam.t.railey.civ@mail.mil and cc: marvin.k.walker.civ@mail.mil. All information submitted should support the offeror�s capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. The Government reserves the right to cancel the sole source award.
