- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE Solicitation: 36C25222B0025 Project: 676-21-704 EHRM NEXTGEN WIFI UPGRADE Location: Tomah VA Medical Center 500 E. Veterans Street Tomah WI 54660-3105 This construction project involves the installation of replacement and new WiFi Access Points at Tomah VA Medical Center campus located at 500 East Veterans Street, Tomah, WI. The AT&T NextGen WiFi Contractor is responsible for the bulk of the work under a separate OI&T contract. Please note that the scope of this work is limited. The Contractor will provide and install conduit, raceways, horizontal and vertical penetrations, and fire stopping to support NextGen WiFi installation on the Tomah VA campus as will be shown and described in the project drawings and specifications. Period of Performance is 60 calendar days after Notice to Proceed (NTP). The NTP shall be issued approximately 10 calendar days after award once required payment and performance bonds and certificate of insurance is provided. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238210 Electrical Contractors; small business $16.5 Million size standard applies. Estimated price range for construction is between $30,000 to $100,000. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation will be issued as a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bid, the bidder must represent that it is a SDVOSB concern, a small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to the acquisition, and is CVE verified for eligibility in the VIP database. All interested parties shall have a current registration and current annual On-line Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA) in the System Award Management (SAM) database https://www.sam.gov prior to award. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on https://www.sam.gov on, or about March 15, 2022 with a bid due date on, or about, April 15, 2022. A pre-bid site conference and a site walk-through for this solicitation is tentatively scheduled for the week of April 4, 2021 (exact time and location shall be provided with the formal solicitation package). All interested offerors, subcontractors and suppliers are strongly encouraged to attend.
