- This Sources Sought (SS) Notice is in support of market research being conducted by Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance and Facility (PSNS&IMF) in Bremerton, Washington for a requirement for Ram Assembly. The resulting information from this SS will be used to assist the Government in determining whether this project will be a full and open competition or a small business set aside acquisition. This SS does not restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. It should not be construed as a commitment by PSNS&IMF for any purpose other than to gain the information requested. This SS is not a Request for Quote/Proposal (RFQ/RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB). Information provided in response to this announcement will not be considered an offer by the responding contractor and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Unsolicited proposals will not be accepted. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a promise to issue an RFQ/RFP in the future. This SS does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Responding parties are also advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. The responding parties are solely responsible for any costs associated with their response. The government will not reimburse any company or any individual for any expenses associated with preparation, submission, or participation in response to this notice.
