All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The COANG, at Peterson SFB, Colorado is requesting information and conducting market research to identify and determine if there are potential sources which have the capabilities to provide a Aircraft Approach Shoring that meets the requirements as outlined below.� As part of its market research, COANG is issuing this Sources Sought to determine if there are companies who can provide two DOMOPS Airlift Modular Approach Shoring (DAMAS) ramps capable of meeting the requirements listed below.�The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought for information and planning purposes. This Sources Sought is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources.�No Request for Quote (RFQ) exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the RFQ. Responses to this Sources Sought are not quotes on which�the COANG can issue any contract. This Sources Sought is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not itself constitute an RFQ. The Government does not intend to award a contract based only on responses to this Sources Sought. All information received in response to this Sources Sought marked ""Proprietary"" will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Responses to the Sources Sought will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought. The COANG will not pay for information received in response to this Sources Sought. Do not submit pricing information in response to this Sources Sought. Interested sources shall provide a response detailing their capability to provide DAMAS Ramps capable of meeting the listed specifications. Please provide the following information: �Organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization, and if applicable any Government contract vehicle numbers; �Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational capability. The Government does not possess or own data rights necessary to distribute for this effort. Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses, procured through full and open competition, or sole sourced. Please note telephonic responses WILL NOT be accepted. DAMAS Requirements: -Capable of loading self-propelled vehicles, towed trailers, and other items with minimum tire diameter of 24� to be winched into the aircraft -Compatible with C-130, C-17, and C-5 aircraft -Pressure shall not exceed 50 psi on aircraft cargo floor or cargo ramp when fully loaded -DAMAS system shall be modular, with the capability to be assembled in numerous configurations (length from 130� to 788� and height from 0� to 55�) -Shall not have any metal-to-metal contact with the aircraft for any component -All components shall be certified by Air Transportability Test Loading Activity (ATTLA) # 2012.02.06.01 Rev 1 -All components shall be compliant with the International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPM) -All components shall be compliant with United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Animal Plant Health Inspection Services (APHIS) Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) program -All components shall be compliant with the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) -Rated capacity shall be no more than 50% of breaking strength -Each DAMAS and subcomponent shall be fabricated by a welder certified by the American Welding Society (AWS) Each DAMAS system shall consist of the following subcomponents: Ramp: -Single axle rating (24� width) � 13,000 lbs -Multiple axle rating (spaced more than 48� apart) � 13,000 lbs -Multiple axle rating (spaced less than 48� apart) � 13,000 lbs -94� long, 24� wide, 4� thick -2 carry handles on each side of ramp -High-traction surface on top Ramp Pad: -40� long, 8� wide, 4� tall -Material on underside to prevent metal-to-metal contact with aircraft Small Stand: -Adjustable height from 13� to 15� -Material on underside to prevent �metal-to-metal� contact with aircraft Large Stand: -Adjustable height from 20� to 26� -Material on underside to prevent �metal-to-metal� contact with aircraft Wedge: -Single axle rating � 13,000 lbs per axle -28� long, 24� wide, 0� to 4� incline height -Material on underside to prevent �metal-to-metal� contact with aircraft -High-traction surface on top Container: -Capable of holding a full DAMAS system
