- Description
- Under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(4) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-4, the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport intends to solicit and award to RAYTHEON COMPANY at 870 WINTER ST, ALEXANDRIA WALTHAM, MA 02451-1449 (CAGE 49956, a large business).� This requirement is for a modification to Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) RAYTHEON COMPANY Contract SPRBL1-15-D-0017 to add manufacturing and delivery of High Frequency Surface Wave Radar (HFSWR) Generation 3 Electronic Cabinet sets; conduct site surveys, sites system installation, testing and commissioning in accordance with HFSWR specifications; and provide training and training manuals for operators and maintainers.� This procurement supports Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Case RO-P-GAJ for the Romanian Navy. The purchase order will be awarded to RAYTHEON COMPANY pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(4), under the terms of an international agreement specifying the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to ensure 3rd Generation HFSWR System data output will integrate with the current and future systems. �RAYTHEON COMPANY is the OEM of the HFSWR Generation 3 Electronic Cabinet sets and owns the proprietary technical data package; government purchase of the technical data package is cost prohibitive. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes.� All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement; all responses received by the Government within 15 days after date of publication of this presolicitation notice will be considered by the Agency.� A determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact RAYTHEON directly.� The Request for Proposal (RFP) number is N0025322F5004.� The NAICS code is 334511 with a size standard of 1250.� Questions or responses regarding this notice should be submitted to Thomas.L.Trepanier.civ@us.navy.mil and Amy.S.Constant.civ@us.navy.mil. �The target award date is 01 July 2020.� The contract will be a cost plus fixed fee contract.
