- Description
- Amendment 02: The purpose of this amendment is to (1) REMOVE the Beam steerability metric from the CUI Addendum Table 1 and to ADD that proposers must project beam steerability and provide beam steering angle definition in CUI Addendum Part II, Section I.A; the amended CUI addendum will be provided to proposers who requested the CUI addendum or classified addendum by the cutoff date and met the requirements to receive the addendum(s). Proposers do NOT need to submit a new request for the amended CUI addendum. The classified addendum will NOT be amended, (2) update the Technical Area description with proposers projected beam steerability in Section I.D, (3) ADD projected beam steerability and beam steering angle definition to the Technical Approach guidance in Section IV.B.2 of the BAA, and (4) provide guidance on how to submit CUI-level and classified-level questions regarding the BAA in Section IV.C.c, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) of the BAA. Original synopsis below. Amendment 01: The purpose of this amendment is to note (1) the processing and delivery time for the Security Classification Guide (SCG), Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and Classified Addendums, (2) extend the Abstract Due Date, and (3) to clarify that requesting the CUI addendum, collateral SECRET classified addendum, and collateral SECRET SCG, which are elements of the Solicitation, are factors in proposal compliance. Original synopsis below. The DARPA Microsystems Technology Office seeks innovative proposals in the area of high energy laser (HEL) source technology, with the goal to demonstrate the next generation of scalable HEL sources. Because of the nature of the work, proposers will require personnel with collateral SECRET clearances and access to both an accredited facility and secure communications in order to support classified development OR proposers must team with an organization that has personnel with collateral SECRET clearances and access to both an accredited facility and secure communications in order to support classified development.
