Add?on programs may also utilize CLIN numbers 0006-9999 as needed. Task Order 2 is reserved for the FT3 Sustainment effort IAW PWS 1.6.6 Description:�This contract is to support the Minuteman III (MMIII) Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Guidance Subsystem to ensure that it remains operational and meets warfighter requirements for an estimated 16-year period or until completion of MMIII deactivation and disposal. The MMIII Guidance Subsystem contract will provide the Government assistance in maintaining the Guidance Subsystem for the MMIII weapon system. Work will pertain to various Guidance Subsystem components and related support equipment in areas such as: Sustaining Engineering, Operational Readiness Assessments, Nuclear Hardness & Survivability, Integration, Test & Evaluation, Field Support, Technical Order Support, Disposal, Nuclear Surety, Program Management & Integrated Product Team Support, Configuration Management Support, etc. This effort will also include ensuring compatibility with existing and future MMIII sustainment systems and programs, as well as demilitarization and disposal tasks supporting retirement of the MMIII weapon system. The Guidance Subsystem Support Contract (GuSSC) shall assist the Government in maintaining the MMIII weapon system. Work shall be in areas including, but not limited to; sustaining engineering, maintenance engineering, modification of systems and equipment, hardware and software maintenance, developmental and production engineering, procurement, replenishment, repair, and refurbishment. The contractor shall be required to conduct materials and subcomponent analysis and test, including aging surveillance test and evaluation. The primary focus shall be to identify aging mechanism, anomalous behavior, and ensure any modifications or changes to the system which shall maintain and/or improve system-level performance. It is anticipated that this contract will be established as an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Contract with an ordering period from Feb 2023 to Feb 2039. IAW FAR 6.302-1, the Government intends to award this contract on a sole source basis to The Boeing Company through its Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) operating division. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be made available to interested parties through electronic data interchange. Certain technical or security documents that are required to respond to the solicitation may not be furnished as part of the solicitation.
