Description

VA HANDBOOK 6500.6 MARCH 12, 2010 APPENDIX C C-12 Pre-solicitation Notice of Intent to Sole Source Pre-Solicitation Notice of intent to award a sole source contract.  This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract with:    NEUROLOGICA CORP DUNS: 145008178 ueiSAM: ZJCDSY3DNLY8 This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate to purchase batteries and contractor support for the repair of the Neurologica BodyTom Portable CT which is a newly procured, highly specialized imaging modality. The contractor will provide the required parts and labor to restore the imaging modality to working order. NeuroLogica Corp is the sole manufacturer of the CereTom and BodyTom, the world s only multi-slice Portable CT Scanners that are capable of providing Non-Enhanced Computed Tomography, Computed Tomography Angiography and Computed Tomography Perfusion imaging at the patient bedside. These scanners are proprietary equipment and may only be service by NeuroLogica trained service engineers. Since the intent is to procure this on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to FedBizOps (FBO). The following is the system that will be supported by this procurement: Manufacturer Model Serial Neurologica BODY TOM ELITE 00163 The authority for this action is FAR 6.302.1-1 Only One Responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.   The NAICS 811219. The size standard is $22.0M. The PSC/FSC is J065.         Interested persons may contact the Contracting Officer/Contract Specialist by email at keri.reeves@va.gov regarding this procurement.  The determination to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.   Response must be received by 03/08/2022.
