- THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The 374th Contracting Squadron intends to award a single source, firm-fixed price Purchase Order to Smiths Detection for X-Ray Inspection System/Software/Advanced Software Options/Roller Tables and On-site Extended Warranty service coverage, 24/7 Technical Support, and Preventative Maintenance for Yokota AB, Diego Garcia, Paya Lebar Air Base Singapore, Misawa AB, and Iwakuni Air Station under the authority of FAR 13.501 due to only one source being capable of meeting this requirement in its entirely within the timeframe required. The requirement is shipping, installation, adjustment and testing, On-site Extended Warranty service coverage, 24/7 Technical Support, and Preventative Maintenance for Yokota AB, Diego Garcia, Paya Lebar Air Base Singapore, Misawa AB, and Iwakuni Air Station. All work must be done in accordance with TSA Air Cargo Screening Technology List (ACSTL) Version 11.4 (at the time of this posting) and manufacturer�s instruction manuals. This notice constitutes a synopsis of the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and is not a solicitation. Interested parties may submit a capability statement that includes technical data and cost information, sufficient details and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to meet the requirement by 17 Mar 22, 1700 hours in JAPAN STANDARD TIME. A request for additional information or document or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a sole source procurement. Capability statements are due on 17 Mar 22, 1700 hours in JAPAN STANDATD TIME.
