- Description
- Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific intends to award a sole source cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modification to increase the contract ceiling on N66001-18-D-0075, awarded to KOAM Engineering System, Inc. (KES). This contract provides end-to-end system design, engineering, integration production, deployment, and life cycle support for the Department of Defense and Navy Qualified Systems to Government customers. The applicable North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 541330. The current contract will expire 15 April 2022, and the follow-on competitive source selection is currently in process. This contract action will increase the ceiling by a not-to-exceed amount of $18,718,880. The period of performance will not be extended as a result of this action, as this additional ceiling is only intended to meet the immediate and urgent requirements of the fleet until such time that the follow-on contract can be awarded. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only the above-mentioned source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The J&A for this action will be posted in accordance with FAR 6.305. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach.
