- Description
- The 316th Security Forces Group has a requirement to acquire extended warranty and sustainment of services for the Selex ES Inc. Leonardo ELSAG Plate Hunter F3 Fixed License Plate Readers; to include all supporting software and equipment. This warranty and sustainment of services includes ELSAG Enterprise Operations Center (EOC) cloud hosted by Leonardo, hardware warranty for six fixed Plate Hunter F3 Fixed License Plate Readers (LPRs) and three (3) Field Control Units (FCUs) along with a 24/7 support line for previously-installed equipment. Description of the Requirement: The equipment located on Joint Base Andrews, MD were purchased in 2018. Current maintenance contract expires 08 March 2022. This requirement is to support a new preventative maintenance support contract. 1.�� �Requirement: a.�� �Preventative maintenance hardware and software warranty for six (6) ELSAG Plate Hunter F3 Fixed License Plate Readers�and� three (3) Field Control units. b.�� �Provide a hosted ELSAG�Enterprise Operations Center (EOC) server for data access by authorized Joint Base Andrews personnel. c.�� �Facilitate the data connection of the fixed sites to the Maryland Coordination and Analysis Center (MCAC) to send read and alarm data and receive daily hotlist updates for stolen vehicles, wanted persons, and other violations. d.�� �The vendor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items as required to perform maintenance. e.�� �The contractor shall use only new materials in the requirement. f.�� �The vendor shall provide all equipment, services, materials, tools, manuals, software, expertise, supervision, quality control, transportation, travel, lodging associated with the performance of this contract. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1.�� �This is not a request for quotes and no solicitation is available. 2.�� �A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received in response to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. 3.�� �Respondents are discouraged from submitting any information deemed competition-sensitive or proprietary. 4.�� �Respondents will not be reimbursed for any costs incurred in responding to this intent to sole source notice. Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. 5.�� �Oral submissions of information will not be considered in response to this notice. This sole source procurement is under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This will be a firm- fixed price contract. To assist the Government in determining if this acquisition is available for competition, please provide the following information: 1.�� �GENERAL INFORMATION: Company�s full name, business size, address, point of� contact and telephone number. 2.�� �CAPABILITIES: Please address the following regarding your capabilities in meeting the requirement described above. a.�� �Is your company capable of meeting the entire requirement? b.�� �If your response to question 2a. above is �Yes�, please provide supporting documentation that clearly demonstrates your company�s ability to meet this requirement. c.�� �Please provide any additional information that the Government should consider in determining if this requirement should be considered for competition. 3.�� �If there are any other businesses that can provide the specified services described above, you must respond to this notice before 28 February 2022, 1000 EST. If no responses are received by the above referenced time, a sole source contract may be awarded to Selex Es Inc. responses must be submitted to the points of contact indicated below via email.
