Description

NOTICE OF INTENT The 502d Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Monaco Enterprises, Inc (cage code 32609), 14820 E Sprague, Spokane, Washington 99216-2191, for the purchase of Monaco D-21 client servers installed in the fire alarm shop at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Fort Sam Houston (FSH), TX. The Monaco system required is manufactured and distributed/installed only by Monaco Enterprises, Inc. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Monaco Enterprises Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability of responding to this requirement of Monaco System, or interested parties may submit quotes/offers. This notice of intent is neither a request for competitive quotes nor a solicitation for offers/proposals. However, all quotes/offers for the Monaco System received by the closing date and time of this Notice of Intent will be considered by the Government. Interested parties stating capability shall be an authorized Monaco contractor and shall be able to provide and install the following Monaco system: � Monaco D-21 client server installed in the fire alarm shop that will be capable of mirroring the primary D-21 server � Will be connected from the client server in building 4197 to the existing D-21 server located in building 2244 via 2 strand, point to point, dark fiber on a closed network � Monitors all fire alarm/mass notification systems on JBSA-FSH and Camp Bullis � The primary use of the system is for the programing of the central database as well as the transceiver modules in the field that report to the D-21 � Allows the fire alarm technicians to run reports and conduct programing that would normally be handled by emergency A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
